Pair of enamelled glass vases, finely painted decoration / Art Nouveau period / depicting a lively lakeside landscape. Each vase features a poetic scene composed of delicately branched trees, a body of water with a boat and figures, and mountainous reliefs in the background. The decoration, treated in black silhouette and shades of brown-green, stands out against a gradient background ranging from orange to pale yellow, evoking the light of a sunset. The glasswork, slightly grainy, is characteristic of the productions of the École de Nancy from the early 20th century, in the spirit of the creations of Daum or Gallé.
