19th-century Dutch ceramic table lamp with hand-decorated chinoiserie panels from an original Petrus Regout ginger jar, featuring a custom-made new lampshade. Professionally wired with a fabric-wrapped cord, ready to use. This refined lamp was handcrafted from an antique ceramic vase by Petrus Regout & Co., produced in Maastricht in the late 19th century and hand-decorated according to a rich, detailed chinoiserie scheme. The baluster-shaped ceramic body is adorned with framed vignettes depicting stylised landscapes, pavilions, and leafy motifs, interspersed with botanical patterns and geometric bands. The palette includes an ivory background with black, ochre, celadon green, soft turquoise, soft red, and pale blue accents. The lamp is topped with a new cylindrical lampshade in warm ivory silk, woven with a subtle repeating gold pattern. Converted into a lamp while preserving the integrity of the original ceramic form. Ideal for collectors of European ceramics, chinoiserie interiors, or designers seeking a unique statement lamp with genuine 19th-century provenance.
