Vintage lamp in porcelain and toile de Jouy

A mix of the old, the classic, and a touch of whimsy. The base is an antique Japanese-style blue and white porcelain vase, transformed into a lamp. I created a new lampshade for it in the workshop, entirely handmade, dressed in a modern toile de Jouy, with a light brown background and a pink pattern. The green fringe breaks up the very classic aspect of the whole and gives it this completely atypical character. It works well in both a maximalist interior and a more classic or very minimalist decor, where it becomes the standout piece on its own. Dimensions: lampshade Ø 40 cm • lamp base approx. 40 cm high. Unique piece.
