After several years of development by ray and charles eames, the herman miller lounge chair went into production in 1956. This chair is a herman miller usa edition of the 1970s. The armchair and the ottoman have been completely restored. Rio's palissandre-plated multiplex shells have been restored and refined. All cushions and armrests have been restocked in very high quality black leather.
