LCW (Lounge Chair Wood), Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller 1950s

Vintage lcw armchair in birch veneer. Charles & ray eames for herman miller. Produced by herman miller between 1952 and 1958 (production of the lcw was discontinued in 1958 until its re-introduction in 1994). Original condition and finish, never restored! It's getting harder and harder to find vintage lcws these days, even more so unrestored ones. Slightly patinated, some small dents and scratches, the general condition is very good. Original screws. Even the shock-mounts are the originals, including the one on the backrest which has generally always been replaced. The armchair has a very beautiful patina, a collector's item.
