Large antique oak library (renovated)

Imposing and majestic, this ancient library made of solid oak impresses with its spectacular dimensions and timeless elegance. * Materials: solid oak (on the front) and solid pine (in the internal structure). * Features: this large antique library, which comes from a castle, consists of three modules forming a linear set of 4.70m. The central part opens with 4 glass doors at the top, revealing wide shelves ideal for holding books, collectibles, or fine china. The blown glass panels (except for one that has been replaced) protect while maintaining a beautiful visual lightness. The two side sections are open at the top, offering accessible shelves, perfect for adding rhythm to the composition and displaying decorative pieces. At the bottom, the whole rests on a series of full panelled doors, allowing for discreet and generous storage. The lines are simple and elegant: moulded cornice, structured uprights, framed panels. The solid oak reveals a warm grain and a natural patina enhanced by the renovation. * Renovation: the library has been sanded both outside and inside (except for the interiors of the two side cupboards) to remove its damaged brown varnish while preserving its lovely patina of time. The library has been completely washed and left in raw wood. Some repairs have been made to the structure of the library. One glass panel has been replaced. * Condition: the library is sound, solid, and robust. Each door is equipped with a key; the locks are no longer functional but the doors close perfectly. * The library is partially dismountable (the central part). Given its dimensions, the central part will be disassembled for transport. Its reassembly will be detailed.
