This display cabinet comes from Maison Mizeret, Rinquebeck and Rouvière, Paris (XIII), better known as "Papeterie Générale des Écoles". Their specialty was not only paper but the complete equipment of educational institutions and administrations. They manufactured sturdy furniture designed to last for decades in schools, colleges, and universities. This display cabinet is typically a principal's library or a management archive cabinet. The lower part is solid to conceal heavy files or materials, while the upper part is glazed to showcase bindings or laboratory specimens. The upper panes have been replaced with jute fabric for added modernity and lightness. The piece is made of solid oak, which has been stripped, treated preventively, and protected with a colourless wax. The shelves can be adjusted to your preference. It is in perfect condition, with a few barely visible scratches on the glass. The original label indicates delivery to a school in Ain. Delivery is possible via my own carrier, with a quote available upon request.
