Monumental library cabinet made of fir wood, from the 19th century, with a sober and architectural style. The piece consists of four glazed doors at the top, each incorporating large glass panels that allow for perfect visibility of the contents, and moulded solid panels at the bottom, typical of bourgeois utilitarian furniture from the late 19th century. The interior reveals a fully fitted structure with fixed shelves across the entire width, offering a very large storage capacity, ideal for a library, archives, or displaying objects. The doors open wide, facilitating access to all compartments. The hardware is original, with visible lock entries. The wood shows a beautiful natural patina, marked by time, with visible knots, signs of use, and irregularities that testify to the authenticity and history of the piece. The whole is sound, stable, and visually balanced despite its imposing dimensions. Dimensions: Height: 225 cm Width: 350 cm Depth: 23 cm This monumental piece will fit perfectly in a library, an office, a characterful shop, a hotel, or a contemporary interior seeking a strong piece that combines functionality, sobriety, and old-world charm.
