This large Art Deco display cabinet embodies the understated elegance and geometric style of the interwar period. Its three glass doors, symmetrical structure, and chevron mouldings on the central body make it a distinctive piece, both decorative and functional. Materials: solid cherry wood structure and original glass. Features: the cabinet consists of three assembled, detachable blocks. The central body, slightly narrower than the two side units, is adorned with a chevron and diamond pattern characteristic of Art Deco aesthetics. Each door is glazed on the upper two-thirds, providing interior visibility while maintaining an elegant simplicity. The whole rests on a continuous moulded base that unifies the three elements and gives them a monumental silhouette. Renovation: the Art Deco cabinet has been gently sanded to clean it while preserving its timeworn patina. It has also been washed and then waxed. Finally, as the locking mechanism of the two side doors was no longer functional, it was removed and replaced with two sculpted metal handles from the same period. Magnets have been installed in the left and right cupboards to ensure they close properly. Dimensions: L150 X D43 X H178. Left and right cupboards: L55 X D33 X H167. Central cupboard: L34 X D35.5 X H167. This Art Deco display cabinet, a rare piece, combines historical authenticity with contemporary versatility. It will assertively integrate into a living room, bedroom, or hallway in search of a characterful centrepiece.
