Very large shop/library buffet in oak – late 19th century, Napoléon III style. Imposing two-part library in solid oak, offering remarkable storage volume and a beautiful decorative presence. The upper part opens with four glazed doors, revealing vast shelves ideal for books, objects, or collections. The old glass features slight ripples, adding to the charm of the whole piece. The metal handles and locks, shaped like cutlery, highlight a sober and elegant aesthetic. The lower part consists of four solid doors opening onto generous storage spaces, with shelves and interior drawers. Notable are the modular arrangements, practical for everyday use. The whole rests on a moulded base and features straight, balanced lines typical of the transition between the late 19th century and the early 20th century.
