Antique bridal wardrobe dating from 1759, originating from Franconia, southern Germany. The heavily weathered character and original paintings give it a stunning appearance. Both the design of the wardrobe and the painting are simple and primitive, but authentic and a typical example of folk art from the region. The wardrobe is decorated with special motifs and the panels are adorned with flowers in fresh blue and red colours. The initials and wedding date of the original owner are visible above the door. The wardrobe has been professionally checked, with attention to originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is worn but preserved, and the patina has been maintained. The layout consists of the original shelf, with coat hooks attached. Four small shelves and a small rod were added later. The wardrobe can be locked with the original working lock and impressive key.
