LC4 Cassina x Louis Vuitton limited edition no. 0355/1000 – Charlotte Perriand & Le Corbusier

To celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of architect and designer Charlotte Perriand, Cassina and Louis Vuitton relaunched the iconic LC4 in 2014, originally designed by Perriand in collaboration with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in 1928. This LC4 CP Louis Vuitton tribute edition has been reimagined with a natural leather mattress and a dark brown footrest and headrest, produced in an exclusive edition of only 1,000 pieces worldwide. This example is numbered 0355/1000. It features a basalt-coloured base, an innovative self-supporting mattress in Louis Vuitton saddle leather, secured by springs, seamless edges with contrasting stitching, and a Louis Vuitton identification on the base: “HOMMAGE DE CASSINA A CHARLOTTE PERRIAND A L’OCCASION DE LA COLLECTION ICONES 2014 DE LOUIS VUITTON 0355/1000 – 2014”.
