A desk designed by Charlotte Perriand in the late 1950s. The rectangular top is laminated with blue melamine and rests on a black lacquered metal structure, which includes a black drawer marked "Charlotte Perriand patented S.G.D.G." Cansado is a mining town built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mines Company "MIFERMA" to house its staff. Part of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967.
