Wassily armchair in Gavina edition canvas

Wassily armchair in original off-white canvas and steel Edition Gavina. Very good original condition. Seat height 46 cm. Designed in 1925 by the Hungarian designer Marcel Breuer, then published by Gavina in the 60s in Italy (see label). It is composed of a structure in bent steel tube and beige canvas strip forming the back, seat and armrests. For this model, Marcel Breuer was inspired by industrial manufacturing techniques, it will be described as revolutionary for its time! A great classic that we love to find in interiors, we will never tire of it. The Wassily, or B3, is an essential piece of 20th century design.
