Pair of armchairs designed by Marcel Breuer (1902-1981), model "Wassily" or B3, created in 1925 at the Bauhaus. The painter Wassily Kandisky so admired the rounded shapes in the square silhouette of the first prototype that Marcel Breuer made him a second one for his apartments, giving the B3 armchair the nickname "Wassily." These examples are from the 1970s and are in excellent condition. Chrome-plated metal, black leather seats and armrests. Dimensions: 73x79x71cm.
