Rare Florence Knoll model 65 armchair, 1956

This rare Florence Knoll lounge chair model 65, designed in 1955 and produced by Knoll International from 1955 to 1973, is a true collector's item. Acquired directly from the family who purchased it in 1956, the chair has remained in its original condition. Although it retains all its aesthetic appeal, the foam has lost some of its elasticity and a small hole is visible in the fabric of the backrest, as shown in the photos. A new upholstery is highly recommended. Florence Knoll, a pioneer of modern interior design, favoured clean lines, simplicity, and the integration of furniture with architecture.
