Domus Easy Chair by Alf Svensson for Artifort, Sweden, 1950s

Vintage mid-century modern design Domus Easy Chair by Alf Svensson for Artifort, distributed by Dux. Made in Sweden in the 1950s and marked on the bottom with the Artifort label. The chair features a black lacquered beech wooden frame and light grey/off-white original cushions. The beech frame has undergone repairs at the front where it had split; while not restored to professional standards, it remains sturdy (see pictures). The original cushions are in good condition with minor stains from usage and age. Measurements: 75cm (height) X 60cm (width) X 78cm (depth). Seat height: 41cm.
