Chesterfield captain's armchair William IV in restored leather with hardwood.

We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful antique Chesterfield executive chair, fully restored, with an original mahogany frame dating from around 1830, and hand-dyed Bordeaux leather. The chair is adorned and hand-carved with elegant lines typical of English libraries. The leather has been completely stripped, hand-dyed six times, aged, and sealed, showcasing a lovely reddish-brown colour. The wood has been cleaned, waxed, and polished. Dimensions: Height 103 cm, seat height 53 cm, width 65.5 cm, depth 70.5 cm. Please note that antique leather may exhibit natural patina with cracks and creases; regular waxing is recommended. It is advised not to expose dyed leather to prolonged direct sunlight to avoid drying and discolouration.
