Restored leather office chair, Victorian era

We are pleased to offer for sale this charming office chair with cigar brown leather armrests, fully restored, handmade in England around 1860, featuring a beautifully carved frame. The frame is made of mahogany with sculpted and carved legs, and the leather upholstery has been hand-tacked and hand-dyed. The chair has been washed, hand-dyed six times, aged, sealed, waxed, and polished. It is the only chair of its kind in the world with this exact colour finish. It has aged authentically and shows genuine use. The dimensions are: height 88.5 cm, width 57.5 cm, depth 73 cm, seat height 52 cm. Please note that all period and leather furniture naturally exhibits a patina, including cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax the leather and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent drying and discolouration.
