A rare pendant lamp designed by Hans Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s for the Swedish manufacturer AB Markaryd. Composed of three spherical shades, this iconic model is distinguished by its movable pine slats articulated around a central axis. Each sphere is fixed to a metal structure housing a screw-in socket. In excellent condition, this light fixture perfectly expresses the balance between nature, light, and craftsmanship. Hans Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a Swedish designer renowned for his lighting fixtures with organic forms and subtly filtered light. Trained as an architect, he founded his studio AB Markaryd in 1951, where he explored light through natural materials such as wood and brass. Inspired by nature, he designed objects where light blends into the structure rather than dominating it. The "Moon Lamp" perfectly illustrates his signature style: a soft, organic, and poetic light, inseparable from the form that holds it.
