The lamp features a simple disc shape. The cocoon material diffuses atmospheric and soft light. At the same time, the symmetrical body of the lamp makes a striking statement in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for its various cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 1970s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
