Vintage Danish pendant lamp Konkylie by Louis Weisdorf, Lyfa, 1963

Iconic Konkylie lamp by the iconic Danish designer Louis Weisdorf. It is a model that is hard to find on the secondary market. The Turbo lamp was designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1963. It was created with a simple shape but with a complex structure. It combines a sense of lightness and strength into a beautiful structural whole. The outer basket of the lamp is made up of 12 identical panels, which together create the shape of a shell. It is an original model manufactured by Lyfa. The lamps were once an integral part of the exhibition at the Danish amusement park Tivoli. The lamp is in very good condition. Light signs of patina. Dimensions: Diameter 40 cm. Height 40 cm.
