ON HOLD A statement floral table lamp pairing a vintage Royal Delft white ceramic base with a vibrant House of Hackney shade—ideal for maximalist, bohemian, eclectic, romantic, English country, or feminine interiors, and even beautiful in a girls bedroom; newly wired and ready to use. Handcrafted by Amitābha Studio, this striking table lamp brings together a vintage Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) white vase with a bold, painterly House of Hackney floral lampshade. The ceramic base comes from the factory’s Delft White (Delfts Wit) line—introduced in the 1930s as a modern evolution of Delftware, shifting away from traditional blue decoration toward sculptural white forms that highlight silhouette, glaze, and shadow. The lamp is topped with a vibrant bespoke drum lampshade made from House of Hackney's luxurious floral textile, "Hollyhocks— Spring", designed by American artist Kerry Simmons, which captures the essence of pastoral romance, echoing the lush gardens often depicted in Gustav Klimt's art, while infusing a modern, punk-inspired edge. A gold fabric-wrapped cord and brass fittings offer a refined finishing touch. The ceramic vase remains unaltered beneath the hardware thanks to Amitābha Studio’s non-invasive conversion method. About House of Hackney Founded in London in 2011, House of Hackney is celebrated for its richly patterned textiles and maximalist approach to contemporary British design. Working with artists, archives, and traditional manufacturers, the brand reimagines historic botanical, Art Nouveau, and Arts & Crafts motifs with modern depth and saturated color. Their fabrics are produced in small batches by heritage mills across the U.K., making each pattern both luxurious and highly tactile. Today, House of Hackney is synonymous with bold, expressive interiors—designs that bring drama, romance, and artistry to any space.
