A pair of graduated ceramic lamps in blue and white Flora Gouda from 1977 with new floral Liberty shades; rewired with US plugs. Heights including shades: 50cm/19.7in and 43cm/16.9in. The lamps are made from the original Flora Gouda vases of the Lotus series, featuring a soft matte blue cornflower glaze and a hand-painted white abstract frieze. The custom shades are made with the floral fabric "Marquess Garden" from Liberty London on cotton satin, showcasing a layered palette of blues and a crisp white floral pattern. Custom brass collars and fittings and navy blue fabric cords. Conversion using non-invasive methods preserving the integrity of the original ceramics.
