Drop-leaf commode in violet wood and mahogany, with alternating inlays of maple and rosewood. The upper drop-leaf door conceals a storage compartment with two drawers, open compartments, and a secret compartment beneath the top. A pair of pulls supports the drop-leaf door. Three drawers with slightly curved fronts and console legs. Interior in poplar. Central Italy, mid-18th century.
