Very beautiful bibus, or small library from a monastery (like a magnificent massive table soon to be for sale). It is made of solid oak and consists of many parts dating from the 18th century. However, it apparently was made in the 19th century with some less old parts. That said, the two finishes blend perfectly, and this piece of furniture exudes a certain authenticity. The top is slightly inclined in a writing desk style, opens with two hinges, and reveals a storage space. A small pivoting wedge can be raised on the left, allowing the top to remain upright (and thus to place items on it without the risk of them sliding off). The lower storage compartments are fixed, with shelves that have an impressive patina. Finally, it is finished with a beautiful skirting board with rounded edges. The back is solid, as it should be. There are some signs of wear, notably a repaired crack that does not significantly affect the top. But it is in superb condition and carries its many lives (spiritual, moreover). H: 99 cm. W: 57 cm. D: 32 cm. My prices are firm, thank you. Delivery in Île-de-France and ground floor for 40 euros.
