Small Vintage Wooden Bookcase / Open Shelving Unit

Compact vintage wooden bookcase with a simple, practical construction and a warm aged patina. The piece has a shallow depth of only 20.5 cm, making it especially suitable for a hallway, kitchen, bedroom or any narrow space. The cabinet is made from solid wood and features two open storage levels, a planked wooden back and softly rounded upper corners. The construction is straightforward and functional, with visible joinery, small block feet and the irregularities typical of an older handmade or workshop-made piece. The wood shows clear signs of age and use, including scratches, small dents, surface wear and variations in colour. There is a noticeable dark mark on the top surface, shown clearly in the photographs. These traces have been left untouched and form part of the original character of the piece. Likely Dutch, dating approximately from the first half of the 20th century, circa 1930–1950.
