COD 01084. Antique Spanish painting from the early 20th century. Oil on canvas, first canvas, artwork depicting a charming interior scene, "The Lullaby, " with good pictorial quality. The tender scene, against a dark background, depicts a seated woman with a swaddled child in her arms. A large, impactful painting, adorned with a finely carved and gilded wood and plaster frame. Painting signed lower left (see photo) P. G. Blanco, attributable to the painter Pedro G. Blanco (1874-1938), missing authentication. A large, vertical artwork, ideal for a bedroom or living room, for antique dealers and interior decorators. The painting has undergone some minor conservative restoration work, with two small patches visible on the back (see photo). In its first patina, it shows some minor paint loss and signs of aging, but is overall in good condition. Interior dimensions: H 134 X W 94 cm.
