Charming oil on canvas portrait from the second half of the 19th century depicting a woman holding her child. It is presented in a period carved and gilded wooden frame. The canvas has some visible losses, small tears, and wear (particularly in the hairline and background; see photos). The original frame is carved and gilded but also has several chips and losses.
