This lithograph “Les Aspects de la Nature - Le Vallon” is signed Henri Rivière in the lower right corner. The work is authentic and old. Regarding the condition, note in the margin small tears on the right (2.3 cm and 2 cm), at the bottom (0.3 cm), on the left missing paper, dog-eared corners, fold marks and small stains. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving, specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer in 1886, from the shadow theater to the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
