The Holy Family with saints, old painting from the 17th-18th century.

Oil on canvas. The scene depicts the Holy Family accompanied by Saint John the Baptist and another saint kneeling before the Child Jesus, who is conversing with them while sitting on his mother's lap; Mary, for her part, is turned towards the back, observing the carpentry work that her husband Joseph is carrying out, busy chiselling. The adult saint standing next to Saint John the Baptist, who occupies the left half of the scene to emphasise his importance to the patron, does not display any particular iconographic signs, although his features could suggest Saint Peter. The scene takes place outside a marble palace, in an Italian landscape. Restored and re-canvas, the painting is presented in a frame from the late 19th century.
