Cod: 10640. Antique flemish painting from the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a stormy sea view with ships, architecture and characters of excellent pictorial quality. Non-coeval frame adapted to the painting, built with antique elements, sculpted, chiselled and gilded (bronze tint) of beautiful decoration. Painting of excellent proportion characterized by the presence of numerous details that allow the viewer to get lost in the waves, the peculiarities of the ships and the countless shades of the cloudy sky (see photo). Equally interesting and pleasant is the painter's skill in painting the wayfarers and animals with a delicious fruit basket in the lower right corner (see photo). Artwork that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the stretcher and color recovery in some places (see photo). In good condition. Sight size h 75 X w 65 cm.
