Set of 4 SE18 chairs designed by the Belgian duo Claire Bataille and Paul Ibens for the Dutch publisher Spectrum in the 1960s. Continuous chrome-plated steel tube structure, with thick black leather seat and backrest without padding. The leather shows a beautiful, even patina of use across all four chairs — no cracks, no tears. Sturdy chrome structures. The SE18 is a rare model; finding a set of four in this condition is even more so. H 74 × W 48 × D 40 cm.
