Set of 4 Cesca chairs by Marcel Breuer for Gavina – 1960s

Magnificent set of 4 original Cesca chairs designed by Marcel Breuer for Gavina in the 1960s. An icon of design, these beautiful chairs feature a chrome tubular steel frame that supports a seat and backrest made of wood covered with hand-woven cane. The chair is named Cesca in homage to Marcel Breuer's daughter, Francesca. This set is in very good vintage condition. It retains its original cane, which has never been replaced, so it may be fragile in some areas, but there are no damages that would prevent its use. The steel frames show some visible rust marks in the presented photos. 3 of the 4 chairs bear the Gavina sticker, which attests to the authenticity of this set.
