Elegant cylinder desk in precious wood veneer, richly decorated with floral marquetry and a central medallion depicting musical instruments, in a refined Louis XV spirit. The piece opens with a cylinder revealing a compartmentalised interior with several drawers and a leather-covered writing surface, offering both aesthetics and functionality. The undulating façade rests on slender curved legs, adorned with bronze gilt mounts and sabots, highlighting the elegance of the whole. Dimensions: 105.5 × 75.5 × 46.5 cm, depth when opened: 61 cm. A fine quality piece from the 19th century. Very good overall condition, with a beautiful patina and well-preserved marquetry.
