Louis XV period sloped desk, curved on three sides, featuring fruitwood marquetry, walnut burl, boxwood inlays, and wenge. It rests on four curved legs and opens with a drop front and two drawers at the front. The drop front reveals four drawers and a compartment that allows for the locking of the drawers. Pull handles and lock entries are in gilded bronze. The leather has been replaced. The lock is functional, but the drop front is warped and does not lock. The piece is waxed.
