Plia chair by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli

Plia chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti and produced by Anonima Castelli in 1969. It is an iconic model of 70s design, featuring a unique hinge system that ensures the simultaneous opening of the three elements of the chair; when folded, all elements are on the same plane. The structure is made of chrome-plated steel, with a slightly smoked transparent plexiglass seat and backrest. It is in good condition, with no signs of chrome oxidation, and only very light scratches on the plexiglass and chrome, which I have tried to show in the photos. The four foot pads are present, and the hinges work perfectly. The stamp is in the form of a label attached under one foot.
