Folding chair "Plia Lucite" by G. Piretti for Castelli Italy

This famous Italian folding chair in Mid-Century Modern style made of Lucite and aluminium was designed in 1967 by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in Italy. The Plia chair is a true design classic, having won several awards and also being part of the MoMA collection. Its fantastic hinge mechanism allows the chair to fold very flat, making it easy to store. The chair has a manufacturer's label under the seat. Very good condition with some signs of use due to age.
