Elegant Louis XV-style writing desk from the late 19th century, featuring a beautifully sculpted façade and a pleasant antique patina with warm tones. This piece of fine proportions is distinguished by its dynamic decoration, composed of scrolls, foliage, and rocaille motifs, characteristic of the Louis XV taste. The upper part has two small drawers adorned with sculpted moldings and keyholes. The central drop front, particularly decorative, is enhanced by a significant relief sculpture, forming a composition of intertwined curves and foliage. Its opening reveals an interior designed as a writing desk, including several storage compartments, a writing surface, and small drawers. The inner face of the drop front is fitted with a dark green writing pad, highlighted by a golden frieze. The lower part features two large stacked drawers, also decorated with moldings and sculpted motifs. The whole rests on four curved legs, with the front ones showcasing an elegant foliage decoration.
