Secretary of Lady marked in Louis XV style – Floral decoration – Marble top. Elegant narrow drop-front secretary made of precious wood and richly decorated with floral marquetry. The front features a beautiful marquetry work composed of scrolls, flowers, and foliage in light wood, standing out against a veneer with warm tones. The sides are also adorned with significant floral marquetry bouquets. The piece opens at the top with a drawer, followed by a drop front forming a writing desk. This reveals an interior fitted with niches, a shelf, and two small drawers. The lower part includes three curved drawers. The whole is enhanced with decorative bronzes, lock entries, drops, and feet. It is topped with a veined red marble, following the movement of the front. A particularly decorative piece thanks to its slender proportions and the richness of its marquetry, ideal as a small salon secretary or occasional furniture. Style: Louis XV Period: 19th century.
