Large Ceramic Lamp Fat Lava (1960s-1970s)

Superb and large modernist table lamp from the 1960s/1970s, fitting within the aesthetic movement of Fat Lava. The base is a sculptural ceramic with a beautiful visual presence, characterised by: A rich and textured glaze in olive green/variegated shades. Two graphic side handles. A complex openwork design on the front (relief perforations) that, when the lamp is lit, allows light to filter through an interior glazed in a warm bright orange. A contemporary cylindrical lampshade in black that elegantly contrasts with the brightness and texture of the ceramic. Overall good condition, no chips or cracks. Worldwide shipping.
