The lamp base comes from an original vase with a strong handle, whose expressive Fat-Lava glaze is among the most striking ceramic styles of the 1970s. The deeply structured surface and volcanic glaze in orange and black give the vase an almost sculptural presence. Its raw materiality recalls brutalism, where structure, surface, and artisanal expression are highlighted. Despite its compact dimensions, this vase has an exceptional spatial effect. The interesting counterpoint is the shade from the Pop Weave Collection. Instead of a classic fabric covering, the shade is made with coloured threads using a special weaving technique.
