Imposing ceramic vase, art craftsmanship, vintage glazed, from the 1950s-1970s, signature to be identified under the base "LD" "ID", probably from a European workshop, in a modernist spirit reminiscent of certain Belgian, Italian or French productions from the second half of the 20th century. Elongated ovoid shape, resting on a small elevated circular foot. Remarkable architectural decoration composed of four wide alternating vertical bands. Two faces are covered with a deep metallic black glaze while the other two are structured by a network of geometric reliefs reminiscent of a stained glass window or a mosaic, enhanced with blood red, glacier blue, and pale yellow glazes with some shades of green. The whole offers a spectacular decorative presence and demonstrates a real technical mastery in the work of glazes and reliefs. A very beautiful unique piece. Height 36.5 cm, maximum diameter approximately 18 to 19 cm. Very good overall condition, no notable defects on the outside; only a few small glaze defects are visible on the inside. As a precaution, I advise against using it with water. The vase is perfectly stable, but its relatively narrow foot combined with its significant weight suggests placing it on a safe and less shock-exposed support. Weight approximately 4 to 5 kg.
