Signed Object in perfect condition Weight 0.311 kg Height 13 cm Diameter approximately 10.5 cm 1876 – 1966 Jean Gerbino is a Sicilian master ceramist, naturalized French in 1928. His work is part of the Poterie de Vallauris appellation which brings together the ceramic production of the workshops and factories established in the region from the end of the 19th century. With their slightly African-Moorish air, Jean Gerbino's ceramics bear the mark of the colonial exoticism of the 1930s which saw their birth. Endowed with strong decorative qualities, they remain in fashion today.
