Ovoid vase in crackled faience by Charles Catteau for Boch Frères Kéramis, La Louvière. Decor D.751 (1923) featuring rosettes and scales in thick outlined enamels. Underneath the base is the painted black mark "B.F.K. / La Louvière / Belgium", the decor number D.751, and the signature "Ch. Catteau" underscored. The vase is in generally good condition; the crackle that runs across the bottom is characteristic of the technique and contributes to the decor, with a few firing pinholes to note.
