Louis Philippe period commode

An antique chest of drawers from the Louis Philippe period dating from the 19th century. Constructed from solid walnut and finished with a beautiful walnut burr veneer on the front panels. It features four drawers, including a standard frieze drawer at the top and three deeper main drawers, highlighted by fine geometric marquetry and central keyholes. Supported by characteristic onion/capuchin-shaped feet. The chest of drawers was fully restored a few years ago and then stored without being used. Supplied with four keys. A timeless and functional piece in good antique condition, despite some scratches/marks (visible in the photos), consistent with age and use. It shows signs of woodworm (visible in the photos). It is suggested to treat it for better use. Measurements: Width 118 cm X Height 100 cm X Depth 56.5 cm. Made in Italy. Period: 1850/1900.
