This 19th-century chest of drawers in solid ash and ash burl veneer is a rare piece of furniture due to its small size. The top, made of tightly joined boards, is molded around its perimeter and has canted corners at the front. It opens with 4 identical drawers, each equipped with a key with round chiseled brass entries. The locks are functional. The uprights of this chest of drawers are canted. The whole rests on a wide projecting plinth, ending in wide molded feet.
