19th C neo-classical style giltwood rope and tassel motif mirror

Beautiful 19th century antique French gilt wood mirror in a neo-classical style with decorative rope and tassel motifs. This mirror features the original antique glass and wood backing for structure. It is in good condition commensurate with age and use and retains its original patinated gold leaf finish. The gold leaf gilding of the frame shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the mirror a warm touch. The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a very good condition. There are some minor imperfections to the frame, as would be expected with a piece of this age and usage, but this does not detract from its charm. In a general good antique condition.
