Small Desk with Drawers in Mahogany, 19th Century

Elegant 19th-century English mahogany pedestal desk. A very beautiful pedestal desk that has been crafted on both sides, allowing it to be placed in the middle of a room or against a wall. The desk consists of three drawers in the waist and two pedestals with three drawers each. There is very fine moulding work on the drawers, and the handles are made of bronze. The height below the waist is 62 cm, which allows for comfortable seating (often too low). The top is covered with brown leather featuring a Directoire design with a gold roulette. This is its original leather, showing signs of wear.
