Double jeweller's workbench in solid oak, 18 drawers, early 20th century.

Rare jeweller's workbench with double station, made of solid oak, dating from the early 20th century. It comes from a workshop where two craftsmen worked side by side. The thick top features two work cut-outs. One retains its original bench pin, while the other has its mortise. Under each station, there are three stacked drawers, two of which are lined with zinc, used for collecting precious metal filings. Two side cabinets with six moulded drawers with wooden knobs complete the storage, for a total of 18 drawers. The piece is sold in its original condition, unrestored. The top bears the marks of several decades of work: compass markings, drill holes, deep patina. The structure is sound, and all the drawers slide smoothly. At nearly 1.90 m long, it is a character piece ideal for a large workshop desk, an entrance console, or a storage island in an industrial interior or country house. Dimensions: L 187 × D 65 × H 84 cm.
